Lents/ FoPo: We’re located in Lents 2 blocks from Foster Powell aka Fopo and our hoods are frequently grouped together as they share many amenities and transit lines. Sometimes we’re also referred to as the “Jade District” due to the high historic concentrations of Asian/ Pacific Islander communities and businesses in our area. Translation - we have some of the best food in the city here! Our area is unique because it’s both super walkable as well as easy for car commuters. It’s a 15 min drive to the Airport, 20 min drive to downtown and about 5 mins in any direction to somewhere cool/ useful. Our area is also one of the top 5 fastest growing areas in inner city Portland. Popular with young professionals and families the median age of people in our neighborhood is about 37 and the average home price is about 435 as of 9/23. There’s 2 max stations and half a dozen bus lines within a few blocks of the Airbnb as well as food carts, coffee shops, microbreweries and restaurants all within a short stroll. There is also a dispensary and Chinese food takeout down the street, a large park, and a Planet fitness nearby! We love our cute neighborhood and know our neighbors pretty well. Note while our area is very safe and we’ve never had any problems while living here Portland is still a large urban city and with that comes a certain amount of crime that you might not cross paths with in a more suburban setting. We recommend paying attention to your surroundings and not leaving items of value in your vehicle as car theft/ breakin is common across the city of Portland even in the most expensive neighborhoods. You have access to the patio and chairs outside the home, and the tiny home itself which is separated entirely from the main house. Note there’s no laundry in this space but there is a laundromat within 4 mins(see rules). Guests also have their own larger garbage can just outside the unit as well as a pooper scooper with bags for those with furry friends. If you need more bags let us know! We will be glad to run some out to you!
